Scott & Denise
The Solomon Ortiz center was filled with friends, family and the festive sounds of the Mariachi group led by Armando Botello.
Denise's dad loved the attention and excitement of the weddings his daughters had less than 9 months apart. I
I do wish there were more Chagoya girls, we have loved being part of the happiest memories.

The flowers were gorgeous, they always are...you know that. The cake was pretty tasted good, Yolanda's Specialty Cakes is excellent. But this blog post will not showcase those images, instead I have chosen to share a photo of the grooms son arriving. The moment he walked into the church he was surrounded by family and friends to help him get his tuxedo on. He is a stepson now to my lovely bride. I think of that label...step-son, I have 2. One has gone to heaven and one is interning with D&P Photography/Videography. He is Danney's right hand and left hand at our large events. Thank you Marshall Levi for riding in the limo with all the quinceaƱera court and filming and photographing their precious memories.
The photo above is just a sliver of the day, but I feel it captured the day perfectly for me.

What makes us remember.
I had been wondering why I was feeling kind of blue inside, was it the sun going down sooner now, or what? Then I remembered this morning that it was November again. My body and my brain remember things thru association. The feeling in the air brings me to remember the baby I miscarried at 13 weeks. After years of struggling with infertility I had become pregnant, but I did not know I was until after the baby was no longer viable. I had to have surgery, sitting in the little blood pressure room at the OBGYN and calling my mom and Danney to tell them was surreal. I now have Robert and I cherish every moment with him, but I still wonder when will November just be November again?

Weekend in Aggie Land
After a great win vs. Aransas Pass we traveled several hours to College Station to the Rudder-Jessup Bed and
Breakfast
Robert kept calling himself an Aggie, He played touch football on the field....Momma followed his every move with her lens.
The Aggies beat Colorado and we had a Freebirds burrito and enjoyed a scenic drive home Sunday afternoon. Driving thru that part of Texas really made me miss Missouri.

David & Lisa
Mariachi Huasteca with vocalist Eddie Mendoza 361-879-0066 ushered in David & Lisa to their elegant reception at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History.

DJ Zarron from
Mystic Entertainment kept the party going with a wonderful mix of
romantic and fun songs.

Cindy's Catering Service from 4302 Sanders in Laredo, TX 956-723-3915 served a delicious meal and had a gorgeous ice sculpture and fruit and chocolate fountain display.
Michelle's Florist & La De Da Decorating provided the beautiful and eye catching flowers and decorations. The pinks and chocolate browns used in the flowers and table & chair covers added a special touch to the evening.
My favorite part of the night was when David gave his speech and mentioned Father Bob's service about men not thinking too much about their wedding day and David said he was dreaming about his wedding to Lisa from the moment that he met her. It was so sweet.
Yolanda's Specialty Cakes created a beautiful and delicious 4 tier cake adorned with chocolate colored ribbon.Wednesday, October 15, 2008
Stephen & Rebecca
Jezebelles in the Art Center of Corpus Christi provided exceptional service for the reception for Steve & Becky...

The entertainment was provided by Danney Boren who wowed the crowd with his custom slideshow of photos & favorite music of Stephen & Rebecca. The music was a mix of country and 80's hits personally selected by the bride & groom and played by Xavier of A2K Entertainment.
The flowers from Always in Bloom 5017 Saratoga were gorgeous.
Yolanda's Specialty Cakes 2033 Airline Ste. D1
provided the bride & groom cake...I love the tiara & helicopter as the toppers.
